Don’t just do something, sit there.

Such a confusing statement for those not accustomed to the perspective of an enlightened one. Does he mean don’t earn a living, or water the garden, or cook my dinner?
Mind asks questions based on the known, the past; it has no idea about emptiness.
This magnificent statement is directed at the scenario taking place in the mind when we attempt to meditate. Don’t do anything within, just watch, and the nature of the problem is exposed.
