I believe I am valuable.
I believe my writing is transcendent.
I believe I am worthy.
My thoughts are important.
You could argue that the above statements are true, or you could recommend seeing a psychiatrist, or you could simply watch. Therapy is a method to re-train the mind back into an acceptable paradigm. The Seeker’s every effort though is to find something beyond the acceptable. Therapy is designed to make sick people well; meditation is for moving from healthy to super-health.
