How often has some well-meaning acquaintance told you to relax? Probably an uncountable number. The problem is they don’t know themselves that effort and relaxation are opposites. Try to relax, and then try harder. Do you get my point?
There are two paths to relaxation, the traditional one of Effort, which ends up in a blind alley, and the path less travelled–Watching. Watching is an effortless state, which is why few will ever go there. Mind is not interested in effortlessness, it gains no badge of merit. Mind wants to prove, to challenge, and struggle.
Watching has no value to the tribe, but relaxation is the consequence.
